CASE BY CASE TREATMENT TIME
VISIT 1: CONSULTATION:
After a full dental exam and cleaning, we can analyze your smile for your Invisalign consultation. One of our doctors at Dr. Lui & Associates will chat with you about what you like and don’t like about your smile or if they see something they see in your teeth alignment.
VISIT 2: PRE-TREAMENT PHOTOS AND IMPRESSIONS:
Once you’ve decided you’re ready for Invisalign, we’ll grab photos of your smile and impressions of your upper and lower mouth. Your doctor will send these to Invisalign to begin planning your treatment .
VISIT 3: CLINCHECK REVIEW:
A few weeks after your photos, you’ll be invited back to our office after two weeks to review a 3D simulation of your teeth movements called ClinCheck together with your Doctor. Here, you’ll have a chance to ask additional questions regarding your treatment before your aligners are ordered.
VISIT 4: ATTACHMENTS AND DELIVERY OF FIRST SET OF ALIGNERS:
Once your aligners arrive at our office, you will come to our office to have tooth-coloured attachments added to your teeth, and give you your first set of aligners. Attachments are small temporary tooth-coloured bumps that help with tooth movement, which will be removed at the end of your treatment. During this appointment, we will also show you how to use and take care of your aligners.
FOLLOWING VISITS:
Depending on your case, we will ask you to let us check your teeth once every 2-4 weeks. The visits are included in your treatment fee, and they will help us to make sure your teeth are moving correctly. At each visit, we will also give you new sets of aligners to replace your old ones.
You won’t even notice the time before you’ll start to see straighter teeth every month. We offer refinements to ensure every tooth has moved into their correct place before retainers are given.
POST-TREATMENT PHOTOS:
At the end of your treatment, we will take the same photos we took when you first started. This is not only for our records, but for you to see how much your smile has changed!
